The Anode Gradient Corrosion Monitor, based on the electrochemical impedance testing principle, assesses the risk of steel corrosion and the durability of concrete by measuring the electrochemical parameters of metal electrodes (anodes) buried at different depths within the concrete. The AMT/FSL-YJT anode gradient probe adopts an array gradient sensor design, which studies the dynamics of steel corrosion development within concrete by measuring the self-corrosion potential of anodes on the anode gradient relative to the reference electrode, the galvanic current between the anode gradient and the cathode, the resistivity value between two adjacent anodes, and the temperature and humidity of the concrete.
