Salt spray concentration monitor

The AMT/FSL-YWND salt spray concentration monitor is a device designed to measure the deposition amount, deposition rate, temperature, and humidity of salt spray in the air. It is suitable for use in instrument control systems and electronic equipment rooms that have high environmental requirements. It can quickly monitor the changing trend of salt spray concentration and provide early warnings of damage to electronic equipment caused by salt spray concentration in the environment. In marine atmospheric environments with high humidity and high salt content, metal surfaces such as carbon steel, copper alloy, and even stainlesssteel are prone to forming a thin salt-containing liquid film, leading to electrochemical corrosion of the metal beneath the film. Even for non-metallic insulating materials, salt particle deposition in variable temperature environments can easily cause condensation on the surface, leading to a decrease in insulation performance and subsequently causing creepage accidents or even fires in high-voltage electrical equipment, posing serious threats to the safety of such equipment. Therefore, real-time monitoring of salt spray deposition and concentration in high-humidity and high-salt environments is beneficial for taking preventive measures early to prevent condensation and severe corrosion on the surfaces of critical electrical equipment.The AMT/FSL-YWND salt spray concentration monitor utilizes a highly corrosion-resistant precious metal probe and electrochemical impedance technology to measure the salt concentration in the air, the surface concentration of salt particles, and the sedimentation rate of salt particles. The instrument is equipped with built-in temperature and humidity sensors, which can simultaneously store temperature, humidity, and salt deposition data, facilitating the understanding of the influence of temperature and humidity on the sedimentation rate of atmospheric salt spray.
