Gun type methane telemeter
The laser methane telemeter is composed of two parts: a transmitting unit and a receiving unit, which are integrated in a probe. The probe sends a laser beam to a distant surface, the laser path is illuminated above the possible leak point, and the receiver receives the feedback signal for calculation. The design of the telemeter is based on the TDLAS principle, based on the molecular structure of methane has absorption properties for specific wavelengths of light, if there is a methane gas mass present in the optical path, the emitted laser is partially absorbed, and the receiver is able to detect the optical signal and the number of molecules of the air mass in the optical path. The telemeter can respond sensitively, quickly and stably to the measured gas in hazardous gas environments. The advanced open system is easy to use, and the built-in narrow band filter can effectively prevent sunlight interference to the signal.
