Laser methane leak inspection drone
The laser methane telemetry probe is composed of two parts: a transmitting unit and a receiving unit, which are integrated in a single structure. The probe sends the laser beam to the distant reflecting surface, and the laser path is illuminated above the possible leakage point, and the receiver receives the feedback signal for calculation and processing. The design of UAV inspection equipment is based on the principle of TDLAS. The molecular structure based on methane has absorption properties for specific wavelengths of light. If there is methane gas mass in the optical path, the emitted laser is partially absorbed, and the receiver can detect the optical signal and the number of molecules in the air mass in the optical path is reduced in proportion, so as to accurately and quickly calculate the accumulated concentration of methane and trigger the alarm.
